DISK SCANNER
Visualize disk space usage with a squarified treemap.
COMING SOON
Currently in beta. Downloads will be available here when it ships.
WHAT IT DOES
Disk Scanner gives you a visual map of where your storage is going. Select a drive or folder, and it builds a squarified treemap showing every directory sized proportionally. Bigger blocks mean more space used.
Click any block to drill down. A sidebar lists all contents sorted by size with file counts and percentages. Hover for tooltips. Navigate with breadcrumbs. Mark items for deletion right from the sidebar or context menu, review what you're reclaiming, and move to trash with a confirmation countdown. Everything runs locally on your machine.
HOW TO USE
- 01Launch the app — detected drives appear on the home screen
- 02Click a drive or pick any folder to scan
- 03Watch the real-time scan with file counts and throughput speed
- 04Explore the treemap — click blocks to drill down into directories
- 05Check the sidebar for top space offenders
- 06Mark items for deletion using the trash toggle or right-click menu
- 07Review your delete list, confirm with the countdown, and reclaim space
